The “j” pipe on my M35A2 will need to be replaced in the near future and I was thinking about going to 4” diameter pipe instead of 3.5”. Has anyone gone down this road before or have any thoughts/observations to share? I am hoping that the larger exhaust may help lower the EGTs a little and...
Back in 93 or so I used a K&N on my 92 Dodge with a cummins and after reading the results others were seeing from having an oil analysis done on their trucks, I decided not to use K&N filters anymore.2cents
I have been running Seletros on my M35 for a couple of years now and my bearings looked fine when I repacked them this past summer.
I have not run my truck through any deep water, but I live on the West side of the Cascades in Washington State where is rains for 13 months out of the year:-P

No you do not need a CDL to operate a M35 in Washington state.

I have the Jatonka spin-on filters on my M35 and the time for the oil pressure to register during a cold start is cut in half when compared to the stock canister filter setup. IMHO dereasing the time for oil pressure to register has to help contribute to the longevity of you engine.2cents...
Yesterday I looked at a 5 ton cargo truck w/w with a multifuel engine, but the tag on the dash still referred to the minimum octane rating of gasoline to use.
