I dont know how to translate these things yet, My brother inlaw, retired a major form the army, He always tells me what they mean
Mudlord ,If you have a forklift or pallet forks, just space the forks so they are on the tire on each side of the rim and put a little pressure on it,That will do the trick!
I'll be there, Puttin the new front brake lines on tomorrow night! If my truck explodes between stockton and the red lion diner ,I'll be in touch via cell phone! LOL
RE: tire tools
I have a slide hammer, and it works very well! But i ussually put the pallet forks on my loader , put the one fork up against the rim and apply some down pressure, and they ussually pop right down with out me so much as breaking a sweat!
My truck had a BRAND NEW engine installed just before it was turned in! 8) It also had new trans, new light switch, and a couple of new gauges installed, It was also the second to last truck to be auctioned out of fort drum NY.
When i mount split ring rims, ( these days only deuce rims) I lay the tire ring down, use a clip on air chuck and air it up, I ussually put about 20 lbs in the tire, stand it up facing away from me and tap on the ring all the way around with a large rubber mallet to make sure the ring is seated...
