Did you tow that truck home? good thing the tire didnt come apart while towing! Sounds like its time to pull the drums off and check them brakes!

RE: wood I just made new stakes this morning, I made them out of oak ,the width was 2 3/8 inch, I think i made the length 45 1/2 inches. I just patterned them from the originals.

Due to my wifes father, having health issues in south caralina, I will be leaving tonite at 6:00 pm to go to SC. and wont be back until monday nite at the soonest. Maybe next time.

I recently did 6 tires on deuce rims, I used my slide hammer(from northern tool) to break em down, took me a little over an hour to do all 6, BUT make sure you read all the threads on this subject, so you know how to air em up safely!

On my most recent truck, When i got it home i noticed the tires were wearing choppy on the outside, when i checked the toe-in with my chalk line as descibed above, I found that the toe-in was off a full Inch! The truck handles much better now!

I was still planing on going, Far as i know its still a go! Mark??

The truck that i just got from GL was one that the bidder never came for the truck,So it went back up for auction, now its at my house!
