I am in the process of installing a winch on my deuce and I noticed that there is a 1/4" space between the lifing bracket and the frame. When I removed the lifting brackets from the bumper there were no plates or spacers present. Am I missing a part? :cookoo:

I bought a top plate from OD Iron as well.
That new top-plate looks great! It makes me want to put the new top-plate I ordered from OD Iron on my recently acquired winch, but first I have to go through the winch and make sure the innards are up to snuff.
The install instructions state to torque the bolts to 45 Ft Lbs, but the original bolts were more like 90 Ft Lbs....What are you guys with Selectros torquing the bolts to?
