    hemtt wheel nuts

Baxter, bring all the nuts down until they just touch and start to compress the o-ring. The initial part is the most critical. That is when you are going to extrude the o-ring into a non sealing surface. On the HEMTT they need the 450-500 lb.ft. to stretch the bolts so the wheel is clamped so...

    hemtt wheel nuts

I did look . . . once. The torque is correct. :deadhorse:

    hemtt wheel nuts

I posted it once and it was "poo-poo"'d as too troublesome to those involved. It is in a cross pattern in 3 successive steps as I recall, torque to 450-500 ft.lb. At least it is less than the lug nut torque.

Electronic (push button) M-series Light Switch

You can see what I mean by wanting to stay with the newer ones if at all possible.

Electronic (push button) M-series Light Switch

OK, so I had a failure of the newer push button style blackout light switch. It has been acting up for some time, not always turning on the marker lights. At a recent event it failed in a "all lights on" condition. Upon internal inspection, 3 IC chips have overheated and burned, since the...

    Arlington Airshow 2010

Well, we think we'll beat the National's number this year. The numbers were up a good 25% over last year. The count, as I last heard it was 150 vehicles! I guess we'll have to shoot for 200 next year. A big thanks to all that made the effort!

A little excitement, a homebuilt helicoper with an apu turbine engine crashed. Thank goodness the pilot walked away and appeared unhurt.

The display is wonderful, we had 57 vehicles and 20 or so trailers as of last night. The German 88 and Russian T-34/38 arrived yesterday. Pictures next week.

I'll go out on a limb and say "No". Even with wearing full kevlar, driving into a camp with a deuce and people sleeping isn't a good idea. Plus no one would be awake to tell you where you need to park. 0600 comes early enough with the start of the "weed whacker" powered ultralights.

Jinx (Mark), arrivals before Wednesday are fairly open. You go through the main gate and there will be someone to direct you to our area. You take a right at the first taxiway and travel West . . . you will see us off to your left after you travel about 1/4 of a mile. We try to keep speeds to...
