    A/C In a Deuce

I am surprised nobody brought up the Recovry4X4 way of cooling a cab! I have used it with great success here in Florida where the humidity is the worst! Try this, close both side windows and the rear window. Close both side vents. Open the drivers side windshield a few notches if you are by...

    m35a3 body

Cabs are the same. Maybe fenders to. I can't believe they used A3 axles under a mud truck! Wait till they need wheel bearings for it.

    Packing Bearings

I wash the bearings to inspect for pitting and wear. After you wash you dry the bearings. I have washed the grease out of bearings and the rollers fell out of the cage, the bearing was worn out. I also remove the old grease from the hub.

    Packing Bearings

Unless the inner race contacts the packer preventing the grease from entering the bearing. Depends on the bearing. It will always work the way he as it in the pic.

    Packing Bearings

It is supposed to come out the bottom. If you look at pic the grease as come from between the rollers at the bottom, just like it should. I use this same type packer on a weekly basis when I service the wheel bearings on the trailers that are under our towable pumps.

    Packing Bearings

The bearing is in the packer correctly and is packed in the pic. You still need to cover the outside of the bearing with grease.

    Deuce (Multifuel) just won't start

I put new o-rings on a HH the other day that ran fine. When I reassembled it I noticed the fuel control rod was sticking. I removed the head and had to spray and work the slide up and down to free it. It must have picked up some debris. It's worth checking. Make sure the button did not fall off...

Took the Deuce to work today

If you close all the vents and side windows and open the front windshield a few notches. the incoming air from the windshield will push all the hot air from the cab and cool you great! Try it and thank Recovry4x4 for that tip!
