There is no seal on the input shaft on a deuce. Maybe your trans had to much fluid in it? The leak sent you to the shop? Just guessing. Clue us in on what happened.

Leaking diodes in your alternator will drain your batteries. It just takes one bad diode in the bridge. A disconnect in the negative cable would stop the discharge but you would still have a questionable diode bridge. You can check for current flow at the alternator with a 10 amp or bigger amp...

I will be taking the bobber to work in the morning. It will be my first time on the road in it. I have to stop for fuel first thing. I had to replace the hydraulic head due to the previous owner running junk fuel in it. This will be my daily driver ffom here on out.
