whats this tranny for? model 6453

There is no seal on the input shaft on a deuce. Maybe your trans had to much fluid in it? The leak sent you to the shop? Just guessing. Clue us in on what happened.

    Frustrated with idle

Me and Sandcobra and someone else that I don't remember were looking at my truck after dark and noticed the coolant leak. I was a little concerned at first but after the trail rides and the 500 mile trip up and back home she did good, never ran hot.

    Frustrated with idle

What about coolant? Remember mine at the Ga Rally? We watched the coolant drip slowly from between the block and head. That truck made it up there and back with a Chirstmas Parade thrown in! My bobber suffers the same problem with the coolant leaks. You get used to it. A couple of tablespoon...

Leaking diodes in your alternator will drain your batteries. It just takes one bad diode in the bridge. A disconnect in the negative cable would stop the discharge but you would still have a questionable diode bridge. You can check for current flow at the alternator with a 10 amp or bigger amp...

    phil2968 driving his Bobbed Deuce

How did I miss a thread about my own truck? I will post some more pics and a good video soon. All the credit for the sound of the truck goes to Wreckerman! I do love the way it sounds and the way the smoke rolls out and down behind the truck. It is very hard to drive this truck without gettin'...

    Go out and drive!!

I will be taking the bobber to work in the morning. It will be my first time on the road in it. I have to stop for fuel first thing. I had to replace the hydraulic head due to the previous owner running junk fuel in it. This will be my daily driver ffom here on out.
