I can offer no help but commend the effort. I own a M109 myself. Good luck with your project.
My dad worked on radar in Okinawa in the late 50s. He has cool pics but not of truck units.
Ain't picking up a deuce the best! Even better when it's yours to play with! Congrats on the truck. I had my first, a M109 put on a rgn trailer and brought home 1350 miles. I wish now I had driven it, just did not know the truck and did not want to chance it.
Keep posting and have fun with it!
I don't have a problem am I'm 6'4" with a prosthetic left leg. I weigh 250 lbs. It ain't the most comfortable truck on the road but it is a Deuce and I overlook it. I do have to have the door handle angled to the rear for my knee to get on and off the clutch pedal. When I jumped in Rayzers deuce...
I dont even want to know how you took that first photo, you must be double jointed in your back.
Thanks for the thread, should help a lot of folks out.
I'll be bringing 2 tan M35 cargo covers (no cord). One set of green fiberglass troop seats.
I could use 1 tan cargo cover for a M105, M35 trans shifter shaft rubber. Maybe a set of shifter boots.
I watched your you tube video. You will soon melt a battery terminal if it is loose. If you don't have a bad battery connection, you have a bad cell or two in your batteries. Check the cells with a hydrometer. Get a small one from a parts store with 4 little balls, not pro quality but tells the...
Did you miss what I typed? I did not know you were talking about a A3, I would think the number is in the same place but someone that owns one will need to answer that.
Good luck with that, I hope your euc clears in time! They have been faster with some lately. Then you have to deal with "we will be here on this day", hard to plan around that. But, recovery's are the best! I hope both of you have great trucks!
We would like to see both at the Ga rally in October!
Not the vehicle ID either. Vin can be on the data plate but not always. But it is stamped in the frame rail on the drivers side behind the front tire. Give your info to carnac in the 2011 vin thread and he can tell you the year and cage code, the make of it. Vin will be under many layers of...
Well the wife decided she does not want to spend the money on a cabin. So tomorrow I will tell Durham Town we are giving up the reservation on Wolf Den 1. Papabear will be taking that one again this year. We are going to stay in my civi tent. We may also try setting up troop seats with bows and...
And this is why......, I bet Kenny spray won't help this one. A frozen brake cable sometimes needs to be inspected. You never know what you'll find. This problem could not be seen until removed. I hope yours is just gummy or a little rusted.
Congrats on the new ride! I am just about to order a e-brake cable for mine. Check Saturn Surplus for a replacement. Best price I found. Go to Jatonka.com and download the TMs for your truck!
Thanks for the pics!
