This sounds like fun, my M275A2 was former Wi. Army National guard they drove all over the state recruiting with it now it's not legal? Will wait to see, but sounds like some one needs to have a rational conversation with his/her state Representative. INVITE THEM TO RIDE AT A VETERANS DAY EVENT...
Take lots of pictures and names,in fourty years they will bring you joy.Stay safe and mostly THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE.Neat you can enjoy the deuce.

Soft top preferred for things like , gun rings, reducing height lowering wind shield and topless cruising around town.
Hard top good to mount lights inside and out,or a big heavy thing to fight on and off.
I prefer canvas on my trucks (Vietnam era restorations) but do have one hard top put away...
Canvas condoms for me, when launched they don't scratch the other stuff parked around the truck. Roll up and throw under seat for reuse after trip.

Nice installation, now you can pull any trailer short of a fifth wheel.
Drop hitch may determine your weight limit. Go with the solid bar heavy drop for highest rating.

Removing valve stem , deflateing tires always makes a safer/easier job.Tires are one thing about a military vehicle that will defanatly hurt bad when taken for granted.Horse play has no place around a good shop!
