TONS AND TONS of info here...
Downsizing the military, more emphasis on being "light", and the fact that many TOC's are now in the back of vehicles/powered by vehicles and not huge "tent cities".
The switch is shot. Buy a 3 lever and never have another problem with it. The push button switches SUCK. many threads on here about them, all with the same conclusion.
The issue mount for the 939 series SUCKS...... it will rattle itself to death quickly. I had 15+ of them when I was in the Army. Best thing to do is bolt the mount to the front of the passenger seat with the controls facing up.
the "extra wire thing" is a load of crap. They are all the same, they all burn/catch fire/melt. Not worth it. I talked to the manufacturer one day, there is no "1st version/2nd version. I had one until it almost melted my wiring harness..
All,
I have done a search, I am looking for pics of "what to do" for the how to put the valve in the valve stem to separate the tire from the M939A2 CITS system so the tires don't go flat. Im not interested in the kits I can buy. I need the "low cost way" to do it to help someone out...
