That would be a big jump but I'd do it. I'd stay away from a tractor as the mandated insurance is going to kill you. With a 5 ton you'll need at least a class B, with a tractor you are going to need a class A.

My 1008 makes that noise but it does go away within a minute, I assumed it was the time it take the oil to get to were ever it is needed. I can almost time when it goes away and it's only after the engine has sat for 5 hours or more. It is just starting to get cold and this is the first winter...
If that's the case I stand corrected. I got two ladders that fit in the tabs perfectly, I thought the seller told me they got them off a 109 but I could be wrong. If I knew the ladders were so hard to come by I would never have sold my 146.
What is the correct measurement for the ladder...
The tabs are so you can safely work on the blackout shutters and windows. As far as the ladder and the side door, the ladder is not very wide and moving it would leave the part of the opening without a step. The position is a good compromise, people in the military are used to performing...
Those are all good threads to read up on. After a lot of reading I opted to get re-centered 12 bolt rims and 37" tires.
I have one tire which I think might be out of round, other than it taking a bit of effort to get them to spin up to speed, I'm happy with them. Need to test them off road soon.
I had the same as the others. Smelled burning plastic could never find the source, one day no lights or horn. Checked the fuses and all looked good, logged in here did a search and concentrated on the 30 amp fuse. Looked at it again and then I decided to pull it out and check it, It came out...
