yes I am confused about all the different info I'm seeing as well. I just want to try to determine what I have to decide which way I want to go with the truck. If by the slight chance it is #6 then I would go through the effort to put it back to original just to have something unique...
The only way I would restore it back to a gasser is if It truly is #6 then it would have some historic value. Other then that I agree with you if it isn't one of the first ones produced it will be left as a A2 multifuel. I'm still trying to find out a Manufacturer on this truck so I can...
Hello All
I purchased a deuce the other day and I thought the data plate was tampered with due to the odd vin#. It ends up the vin# M35006 matches the frame number. After speaking with a friend at the museum he thought it could be #6 and if this is so he had the parts to convert the truck...
Ok I checked the frame number and it matches M35006. Is there any way to determine the manufacture. Also is there any way to deturmine any more history because if this is #6 built which my buddy at the museum thinks it may be I have access to a gas motor and I would restore it to it's original...
Do you have any Idea of the manufacture? I am assuming that the data plate was replaced by the army. I will try to find the vin# on the frame tonight.
Thanks
Ryan
Hi
I just picked up another deuce and I am having a hard time deciphering what I have. Any help or info on the truck will be greatly appreciated especially the date and manufacture.

The tag shows no manufacture name or date...
Hi msisco,
Nice looking truck! I guess that is why you never made it by to get your trailer the other day. If the fuel filters are the same i may have a set of multifuel deuce fuel filters at my house you can borrow and just replace them when you get a chance.

My paperwork was all clean they just never looked at the papers and sent them to battle creek. I have several emails stating they would review it no later then tomorrow and get it sent to battle creek, that was a couple of weeks ago.
Ryan
Mine was finally sent today as well. I had to threaten them after they lied to me for a couple of weeks and that was the only way they would get anything done.
Ryan
That's great news that you did not sign off on the third truck. I would not pick the truck up if it was me. Good luck I hope it all works out for you.
Ryan
The big problem I see he may have is he probably accepted and signed off on the property when he picked up the other two trucks. Even if that is the case GL should still be liable for the damages due to them moving the vehicle.
I am still waiting and it has been 20 days. They claim they have sent it in but the site still says my euc is not sent in. The people at Government liquidators have been no help at all.
Ryan
I went and inspected it yesterday and it looked good from a distance but when you got close it lacked a lot of prep work that should have been done prior to painting.
