this is the hydrovac out of my dukw not the cckw. It is definitly a second series. It has two of the big cup seals and one small. Thanks for the help.

The parts I'm looking for look like a rubber wheel cylinder cup except for they have a hole in the middle. They are 1/2" od. and 1 1/16" od both with holes in them. The brake guy I use could not find any replacements for them. Let me know if you have any ideas.
Thanks

Is there any chance you have any leads on the rubber parts for the original hydrovacs? I sent my DUKW one out to be rebuilt and the nos parts are all rotten for the cups and there seems to be no replacements out there.
Thanks
Ryan
Yeah I saw the vent but luckily I have a tube in inventory and someone put steel wool in the fitting. As far as the brakes go they work great and are all original. The early trucks had the hydrovac fittings at the back of the intake manifold as far as I can tell.

Hi All
Thanks for the comments on the truck. I will try to get some interior and engine shots this week. As far as the name goes I really don't know the history of it or if it dates back to WWII or not. At the moment I am just trying to remove as much of the junk people have put on her over...
I just picked up a new toy so the DUKW had some company it's same age. It is a 1942 cckw-352. I am looking for a original front bumper and seats if anyone knows of any.

I have had great luck registering deuces at the AAA By John Wayne Airport. The guy to talk to over there is Kirk and they also can inspect them. It is way easier then the DMV.

Did you ever find the the cause of your low power? I have a truck that has been losing power and getting harder to start as well. I just replaced all three fuel filters and that had no effect on helping the performance.

Yeah I figured the plate has been changed plus it says M35A2 on the plate. Well it sounds like I'm getting closer to having the info I need to apply for my title. At this point should I be assuming that it is not #6 like some one else mentioned?
Also what do these rings and mounts go for on...
It is a standard insulated soft top and it just goes around the two aft legs and fits a little goofy. I am currently looking at buying another m35a2 that has a hard top with a hole in it for using the turret and it was all done by the military. Before I know it I'll have the trucks to get this...
