    MV Mounted Gun Laws

Unless Commufornia gets their way. They just sent a bill to the governor to sign that makes it illegal to carry riffles in the open. I don' know what effect that will have on reenactments and services if they can not use riffles with blanks any more. Of coarse in the same bill they want to give...

    Help on CCKW brake problems

I am going to have to look into that. Previous owner thought it was original but it's overall size is bigger than my 352. There was a lot of variances and aftermarket boosters that got put in later. Thanks Ryan

    Help on CCKW brake problems

The drums were lightly turned and all springs are good to by what the previous owner states. The last owner thought it was something to do with the hydro vac booster. Ryan

    Help on CCKW brake problems

I just acquired a CCKW and I'm trying to get it all dialed in. The brakes have new linings, wheel cylinders, and hoses. The problem I am having is that the brakes are way to sensitive. If I just touch them it wants to lock up the brakes or applies them to hard. It also drags the brakes after...

    New trucks to the heard

Yes they are very small compared to the modern stuff. Currently it is set up for catering. I am going to try to sell coffee and shave ice out of it but if that does not work I have every part to put it back to original. The previous owner restored WW2 aircraft for a living and meticulously took...

    24 bolt wheel weigth

Maybe it isn't quite 50 lbs. I just weighed a 24 bolt with the offset bolts (the highest load rated of all HMMWV wheels) and it came in at 168lbs. That was with run flat and the Goodyear MTR tire. Ryan

Another DUKW....I just could not pass it up

No I have been my own worst enemy lately. Since the last post I have added 4 more tucks to the collection. Every time a new truck shows up the others get put on the back burner. Although I am about to leave here and head to AAA to due a mass registering of trucks and one of those is the DUKW. Ryan

    24 bolt wheel weigth

I can't give you an exact weight but I do know they are a fair amount heavier. My back is still out from two weeks ago trying to help balance my 24 bolt rims for the H1. The other thing is the tire is a fair amount heavier due to the higher load rating as well. If I had to guess I would say the...
