The two to one ratio came about from the large numbers- they took a supply of 6800 A2 trucks and built 3000 A3's. (I'm just making the numbers up- but fill in the correct numbers and the ratio works.)
They didn't pull two trucks out of the line and build yours. But the soul of the trucks...
There are several M35A2's out here with hubs on the center axle. One in particular is considered one of the baddest offroaders around- and the owner takes no prisoners when he offroads. Never a glitch, no issues and no failure that I know of--- and an upgrade that is on my long term upgrade...
Ha- I forgot to mention that it was dark out, 15 degrees and I was in shorts and flip flops- so no way was I going to that much trouble...:-D
But your idea is now on my list
That's a good point. But soon our own armor could be used to keep us off the canal. I heard predictions to that effect today, and I tend to agree. Not saying that our military would be stopped from transit, but commercial use could be greatly affected.
My latest solution to cold weather gear for the deuce: a radiator cover. Required materials- one piece of scrap cardboard out of the neighbors trash and a couple zip ties. A few minutes on the calculator and I came up with the correct free flow area to leave open in the center.
I can report...
Well said, you should try writing for a living...
I think we have treated Egypt like a crazy step-son that we know is about to 'blow' at any time, but if we give him money and toys (MV tie in) he keeps to himself and doesn't cause much trouble.
But when they snap-- watch out... and I agree...
Ha- that third picture really shows how the mud flaps get messed up on the tractors! Check it out. (And get flaps lined up before you head out).
You won't have any trouble selling those tires. You might try Boyce- you could do a return trip right past their place near Salt Lake. Maybe he would...
Forget the muffler comment- if you had a loud whistle before, and don't have one now, it's NOT because a muffler magically installed itself.
I have few trucks with whistler turbos, and some are very loud- others not so loud.
