I have an A3 drivers seat that I would trade for a real nice A2 spring seat. The A3 seat bottom needs replacing (seat back is good). The A2 seat would need to be like new canvas to be worth the trade. I could take it as far as Vegas.

I throw mine in the bed. I don't really carry much around in the truck- the bed is too dang high to use it for much. If I ever need to get the spare out- I'll just drop it out the back! Second choice would be to leave it at home. I can drive on a 1400R20 with zero pressure- enough to get it off...

I think the primary filter should be at the low spot in the fuel line. I always thought that's why they put it where it is, but I don't know for sure.

My only issue has been that the local DMV office in Mesquite NV wanted me to drive the truck into Las Vegas to their main office to do a VIN inspection. i thought that was a load of crap (and very expensive and waste of time), so I registered it in another state.

I'm pretty sure the front glass in my deuces are not DOT, but they do appear to be laminated (in some of them). If yours is an off road only truck, no issue either way.

Seems like this is a never ending issue, and I don't think we'll see a solution in my lifetime- so I thought I'd go back thru my last 10 EUC's and average out the time. I only counted business days, and I did not count any any sales during my first EUC wait (which was about 70+ business days)...

Azbuckfever- I see your 2 trucks every week or so, they are safe and sound at HAFB. But you should have your FIL check with GL, and be more specific about the trucks and their status- or you may find the auction cancelled and your money refunded.

Justin- you're not the only one who enjoys a slow-ride every now and then. I am committed to doing at least one trip to Alaska in the next year or two in my M185. It's always a good motivator- I tend to get things done when I have an event to plan for. Looking forward to a laid back road...
