Anyone use paint code FS34052 on their rig ? Please post some pics...

As the topic states I am going between a few different paint colors for my upcoming Humvee re-paint. Currently going back and forth with the good ol' FS34094 aka CARC green and the USMC FS34052. So, anyone use the FS34052 on their rig ? If so can ya post some pics ?

Have you painted your Humvee ? What FS code did ya use ? Can we see some pics ?

Hoping to make this a "sticky" post cause it seems like topics of painting / repainting HUMVEE's are all over this forum (not just in the Humvee or Paint sections). So lets keep this straight and to the point, each post under this topic should at least answer these basic questions: 1. What...

Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

I literally read each post on this thread and still have my question: Does anyone have a Behr paint code I can walk into Home Depot with to obtain a finish / color of the code 34079 ? From what I can see it has alittle more "sheen" to it over the standard "383" code and plan to paint my M998...

After market seats or alternate seats for HMMWV / m998 ?

Great thread and tons of info ! I hate to be the odd ball in the room but does anyone else think by putting in "stock" looking seats it kills the Miliraty / purpose built interior look of the Humvee ? Believe me a aging Skateboarder with a bad back I would love a more comfy seat in my M998 but...

Any photos of HUMVEE's painted with 34079 code paint ?

As the topic says I am about to do a re=paint on my 1988 Humvee and I am torn between #34079 & #34094 paint. From what I can see the #34094 is abit more flat and almost has a "chalky" look to it, where the #34079 seems to have a bit more sheen to it (for better words). Anyone repaint their...

Military HMMWV Vs Civilian Hummer H1

Every Pontiac on the road today went thru the DOT (Department of Transportation) process and was deemed (on road safe). Every Buell motorcycle was put thru the same paces and tests as every say Honda or Harley - Davidson and was deemed safe and acceptable for public roads. The Humvee was not...

Military HMMWV Vs Civilian Hummer H1

Humvee's weren't crash tested and didn't go thru the same tests and procedures that the "on road" Hummer did. Also if you ask me, AM General is behind making the Humvee harder to get on the roads legally because they don't want their "hummers" to drop in value. Think about it..

    Humvee Sound Heat Insulation

My plan for the inside of the cab is: 1. Undercoating (spray can) 2. Dynamat sound insulation 3. Military green grip tape (like they use on top of skateboards). Simple, fast, works (had a buddy do the same in his Jeep CJ7) and a **** of allot cheaper then what these places above are charging for...

    Humvee Sound Heat Insulation

Try soaking the wrap in water before you wrap the pipe (old motorcycle trick). Makes more of a mess but keeps the fiberglass in the bucket of water and not in your skin / in the air. Plus with the wrap wet you can pull / get a tighter wrap around the pipe. And the whole idea of wrapping the...

Looking for HMMWV service shops in Miami, FL

Bullet Motorsports is in Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312 and I know they do a TON of Humvee fixes / repairs / etc. Check out their million videos on YouTube. Also their is Hummer of Miami. I am in Chicago so not sure how close these might be to your location but the next place to search is GOOGLE !

    Just another hmmwv build thread.

When you do go and paint your truck what code of Rapco "green" are you going with. I ask because both the 34079 & 34094 both look good on these trucks. The 34079 seems to have a bit more "sheen" to it, where the 34094 almost has a "chalky" look to it..
