I've never bought from GL but from what I've seen and read I think I'd like to see better security at the lots and more disclosure on the reasons some trucks seem to get sold and then pop up later. The idea that there might be something odd going on leaves a bit of a bad taste some people's mouths.
RE: Old Warbird-can
Interesting. Appears to have been used as a trainer and all of the controls are pneumatic.

Ok, that is much better, thank you! It's a lot more interesting when you can scroll through the pics and see everything together. Really helps when you are looking at stuff like the turret and figuring out what is what, lol. That's an awesome machine and looks in great shape. Are the weapons...
Well now, that is interesting. similar to what I was thinking with the Bradley turret idea, but I like the smaller appearance and it should look great on the V-100. Your attention to detail is very nice and I can't wait to see more as this project progresses.
Hmm, I won't begin to guess since there are so many choices out there. Most tank turrets would be too large and heavy, but obviously something large is in the works considering the larger hole and reinforcement. I know a few that I would like to see in some form or another. I like the look of...

I have used an Auburn High Performance limited slip differential and was pretty happy with it. Worked similar to a factory limited slip, but was a bit tighter and it didn't break. If you are interested in a Detroit, we sell them for $574.99 + shipping for...
Kenny, I don't know what happened after my post but I gather you got involved somehow. I probably went too far in my post and for that I apologize to everyone. I don't know what happened but Kenny, if you took any flak as a result of my post, I formally apologize to you specifically. I don't...
What are you looking to get out of it? Is it a Dodge truck engine? If so, what year? I doubt I can afford it for my Ramcharger, but I know of a few people who are looking for a good 6BT and I can pass it on.
Agreed, it may have a J10 engine, trans and transfer case but it sounds like it has the original M715 axles. If the D70's differential is offset tot he passenger side and the D60 is closed knuckle it's a definite. I'd guess that they are original M715 axles just by the ratio as I don't think...
I've seen stranger things. I'm working out a deal with a guy with a Dodge W250 to swap his D44 and D60 axles for my old half ton axles I took out of my Ramcharger. He seems to think they are just as strong and will give him better gas mileage. As for mud racing with M715 axles, I...
I would have to strongly disagree on the axles being bulletproof. The Dana 70 rear is a coarse spline version that is not very strong at all. It will handle the job it's meant to do, but it's no where near as strong as a modern Dana 60. It also has a weird offset pinion so gear changes are...
