Delayed recovery conclusion, finally! Lessons learned...

I noticed a BIG difference in the magnetic holding power of the 'Walmart' light kit vs. the 'Harbor Freight' kit. Walmart has much better magnets. The bad news- the Wally kit was $47 and the HF kit $15. I was going to return the Wally kit, but I tried both first and will give the HF kit away- to...

Winter storage ,keep the critters out of the cab.

That's another great idea- provide the critters with a 'sacrificial' vehicle...ha

    Classified sticky

Why offer such a simple solution when there are obviously more complex ways to do this! (kidding...) This is a good solution to an issue I also have (had). Thanks Dave

Winter storage ,keep the critters out of the cab.

And the winner is... I claim the grand prize for critter crap in a deuce (multiple trucks - would that be deece?). I have pack rats piling up stuff from floor to top of the seats in a couple trucks. I'm gonna try some of these fragrance ideas, along with covering the cabs with tarps. This is...

    Log / Grapple Truck Project

I saw a rig over at Boyce Equipment a few weeks ago- it was an M35A3. They had moved the bed back (looked to be about 4') and installed a grapple behind the cab. It was for a log business in Wyoming. I'm sure you could give them a call and get the details. Looked very reasonable for such a heavy...

    M105 info

Two pins (one in each front corner) to line up the trailers. Two heavy duty tie down straps and no problems- 900 miles. Hooked them together while standing on end. (straps were off when I took the pic). I used a couple pcs of plywood to allow the straps to 'crush' into place. Make sure you...

Gun Truck progress (constructive critisism and suggestions appreciated)

Just bring it up to my place- we can put 'ma deuce' and some M60's on it- and do all the marking/scarring you need. Good time to take some HD video, too. I can cover most of the ammo if I can use the video. Your truck is looking fantastic- Dave

    Deuce Use?

If you have to ask... ;-) Now that is a statement I can understand! I noticed that on the same day I won an auction for a deuce- my body hair started to grow, my voice lowered and girls started to notice me. Not bad for a 16 yr old- but great for a 55 yr old guy!

Would you agree this is what flood damage looks like?

That motor looks like all my cars and trucks-- out here in the dusty desert.
