Since you're not limited to the number or type of trucks you can (and probably will) own, get the one you want. Seems you have a good positive attitude, I think your family will have a blast with whatever M___ you get.

You mean they stopped selling M35's last October? Wow- I've bought two from GL since Dec 2009. And I see them on auction at GL right now... Just sayin'.

Ha- you sound like me a while back. I have the pintle on an adjustable height receiver. I use a 1 ton truck, and even then I need the pintle near the top. It won't hurt anything to have the trailer ride at a slant. Should be an easy trip for you. Good luck
