No you don't! I've got a few of these A1's stashed away- correct A1 configuration- for much less (don't want to violate the gun rules here- so no more info here), but they are cool for a deuce.

The one in the pic is the worst of them. Looks there is a brake on them. The others have a lever and shoe.
I'd assume the bigger one is for a 5 ton.
Now the next question- is there any value to them- or are they just boat anchors?

My thinking (and I'm at an early stage of accumulating this stuff) is that if you like deuces- then the A3 should be part of your collection. Don't worry about issues they might have. And your next one can be the A2.
