    air horn problem

TB58, what sort of truck do you have? M54 or 800 series. They have a twist the horn button type and it is a bugger if it hasn't been off for awhile. the M923 is easy with 3 screws holding it on. If you have the twist type, be patient or you will break a leg off.

    M886 AMBULANCE

My truck is original, non restored, with painted crosses. At some point they did put a couple small vinyl crosses on the front of the over the cab piece, with ambulance stenciled in between. My truck is a 1977 with woodland camo paint job, but I think it came originally as straight green, as...

    air horn problem

This is worth refreshing. Thank you for the tips in this thread. A friend came by today with his 923A1 and no horn. Ended up taking the horn button off, cleaning a lot of corrosion, and viola, the horn is working away again,. Cleaned the nut, spring, and push button. Horn works like a champ...

Sorry we missed. Are you talking about the 181st table? I will put it aside till you get a chance to look at it. I have to sort through my tables and see what I want to keep and part with. I may need that one to go with the M151, that is a HQ 181st truck.

She told me it was pretty wild. Work in the Operating room all day and go out on the town all night. The Navy nurses had to be single, were well educated and making officers pay. Quite a combination. Despite what they portrayed in the Pearl Harbor movie, it is highly unlikely that there...

My M880 Thread (pics plus bonus M882)

Sorry I keyed on the failure to start. Too many variables without a bit more diagnostic. Still sounds like something in the fuel system. Back to the fuel questions, does it have fuel, is it getting fuel, is it getting too much fuel (flooding). Then the variables that go off from that. My...

My M880 Thread (pics plus bonus M882)

How long was the truck sitting before the failure to start. Do a search of the threads on loss of prime at the carb. I had that problem, used advice on here, solved it, and now it is back again. If I let the truck sit for week, it loses prime. I also found that I had a bad fuel line that was...
