Aug 1 Saturday Washington Arms Collectors vehicle display in Puyallup, WA

Will pass it on and we will talk before hand about me being there. Once in awhile my wife thinks I need to do house stuff. She isn't very caring and sensitive about that sometimes. P

Are you filming on Saturday? I could bring a few things, scythe, pitchfork, jug. Am working on the hat, but may strike out on that.

PNW-7TH Annual Chehalis River Valley M/V Gathering

If there is interest, sometime after the parade, we could go to Peter's toy store in Centralia. Never know what treasure you might turn up there. It is probably about 12 miles from Aaron's. 622 N. Tower St., Centralia, WA 98531.

    M923A2 Doing 80 MPH!!

Thank you for the engineering and tech tips in this thread. I have an 84 M923 with Goodyear 11x20's that are 10 years old with 6,000 miles. I like to run at 50 to 53 for fuel purposes, but the truck will creep to sixty if I am not watching it. The truck proof tested a deer at 50 on the way to...

My M880 Thread (pics plus bonus M882)

Do you still have the broken speed out in there? If so it will be a bugger. If it is out, Sometimes you can have some luck drilling all the way through with a small bit and then running a tap through that hole, mostly to weaken the sides of the stuck bolt. You should then be able to get it...

Saved from scrap, what to do...

Well it looks like it is an uncut body. Can't say that about mine.

Centralia WA 4 July 2015 - Display and Parade

There shouldn't be any conflicting info. Parade starts at 1600. It is still all the same timeline as the opening post. The only variability is when we actually go over for lineup. We will try to lineup by age of vehicle. So far it looks like five 5 tonners. and then some small vehicles...

value of restored original MB vs. restored MB with repro body

How about a different classification and perhaps this gets away from the original hypothesis, but, Original, Restored, and Reproduction. There may be carry over in all those categories. My 42 GPW has a few repairs to the body and whatever parts it takes to keep it running. It is a restored...

Centralia WA 4 July 2015 - Display and Parade

Will see you Saturday morning. The M38A1 started acting up on the way home from the airport Sunday and it does not want to run smoothly, so am working out those issues. Hopefully it will be under control by Saturday. The ambulance, 923, M715, and M54 are all doing fine and should be on track...

    PNW Info Thread!

923 is from the 224 Eng. OR ARNG. There is another 923 here in town that is 4 numbers off mine. Recently spotted a 923A2 off Bishop Rd. in Chehalis. It is desert tan too. Have not seen anyone around it to stop and talk with.

    PNW Info Thread!

The Ocean Shores event went well and they fed us hotdogs. We had 4 vehicles, M923, M923A1, 43 GPW, and 53 M38A1C. Found out that my 923 went to Iraq in 2003 and maybe 2007. Met a SFC from the unit and he clued me in on some of the history. Also got to see what a happens when a deer and 923...

Registering an M1078 in Washington State

Depending on which plates he got, that is not a yearly fee. It is probably the initial license with title transfer, plate, possibly sales tax, and a Gross Vehicle Weight fee. Once you can get collector plates, there are no more fees.

Veterans Memorial Pool Fundraiser - Centralia, WA 20 June 2015

Talked with the lady that is organizing the event today. The address for the pool is about 521 N. Pearl St. Centralia WA 98531. I would like to have us positioned and in place by about 1000. We will most likely be on the asphalt between the pool fence and the back of the sidewalk. Hopefully...

Moderator, please take that file off. It loaded okay on my computer as a Word Doc, but for some reason it did not transfer right for me. Sorry.

Elma WA Veterans Day Parade 11 Nov 2015

Hello Team, got a request in for this one today. If anyone is able to attend, their service is at 1100 and parade at 1300. Lunch will be provided for parade participants. The town is not big and neither is the parade, but they have heart there. The 1st Sgt and I did it a couple years ago and...
