Amram do you have anyone around your home area that is doing some construction work. You could hit them up to use a backhoe or front end loader to pick and place them for you. Flip the guys a few bucks on the deal. Most of the companies that I worked for and the guys that I worked with, would...
I could fit some of those days in. But need to spend my free days prepping for Auburn parade. Keep us posted. The during the week days don't work for me because of work.
The parade starts at 1100, registration at 0930. In the past there is somewhere around 150 entries, so however long it takes to get them going. I would say it is over by about 1230, but that depends on your number in the lineup. They try to run current units, then veterans units, then other...
Amram, bring what you want. Nobody there will be bigger than Stuart's Hemmet.
What's the confusion? I recommend 0900, "H" St. SE Auburn WA. Our confirmation letter says just that.
Registration opens at 0930, but once vehicles start to arrive, manuevering rooms starts to diminish.
Last...
I am not from that area, but North on H sounds reasonable. The side streets are very narrow and in the past they have had neighborhood cars parked there, so we will be on which ever side is open. Thank you for checking in on this. I have been doing this parade for about 14 years and we always...
Randy will look forward to you being there. That is a very interesting old power wagon that you have.
Storm, take a look at post number 13, so I don't have to write it all again. "H" St. is perpendicular to Main. Once Amram pulls in with his 2 1/2T, that will be the end of any traffic on that...
Come on, it is only about an extra 1500 or so pounds. Just wrap a chain around it and to a tree and pull out from under it. :) You don't have a sturdy overhang of some sort that you could put a come along on and lift it out of the truck. Maybe think chainfall as most comealongs that we use...
Got the confirmation letter from the city of Auburn. We are to stage on "H" St. SE. They start registration at 0930 and I am thinking we should be there by 0900. The small side streets that they stage us on are a bugger for larger vehicles. Once you get in there is not getting out and no one...
Finance office? It is important that you go out and get the parts right now and then let her know who is in charge. Women really appreciate this. :) Just trying to be helpful.
Good luck and keep us posted on this mission.
Oct. 27th? That would work for me. Nov. 10 Auburn Vet's parade. Amram, thought you were going to turn out for the parade? I need a fairly accurate count so that they can allocate space. This is one place where size does matter. If you have 3 or 4 deuces and 5 T, they don't fit well in a 20...
Take a look at the rebuild airpack threads. If you have already done that, it still sounds like your air pack is not releasing all the way. If you hit the brakes and one locks, go to the back and crack an airline, I think the left side, if the brake releases, there is an airpack issue. I ran...
Saturday OFM will be presenting an historical presentation on Women in the Military called "Beauty and Duty".
This display is presented by Alice Miller. She will have models wearing various women's uniforms from WW1 through present times and have static displays as well. She goes into detail...
Dale do you have any dates that would work for you. Some of us could probably come up your way if needed. the burger place in Tumwater or Nisqually might be good get together spots.
Good job with the pics Kurt. I forgot the camera yesterday. That was the most M 37's that I had seen together for a long time. They were some beauties.
Drat! they had the Zero out flying and the DNR guys were out washing their Huey's after being busy firefighting with them. Talked with one of the guys, he was a forward ground controler for them and has been on 30 fires this season.
