You mean the idle mixture screws?
Usually the base line setting is to turn the screws in all the way and then back them out one and a half turns.

I do not have a sticker under the hood, But I think there is a "data plate " .
According to the " organizational maintenance " lesson plan ( pg 120 ) , the timing is set to 3deg BTDC, the RPM's are set at 750 and the carb adjustment is done with an engine analyzer through the exhaust...
I personally don't have a problem with mods having the ability to read ANYTHING I write, Including a PM. And if Chris says the mods do not have this ability, I have no reason to doubt him. ( Nor do I have any reason to doubt any other post made on this subject )
But if he should be mistaken...
Most stuff grounds to the firewall or fender, That includes the ECM by the drivers side hood spring, it needs to be grounded threw its case, to the fender.
you might want to pull it, and clean it up so you have a good metal to metal contact, or run a wire to the case to the NEG side of...
If you are sure you have spark at all cylinders, get all the plugs cleaned / dried up and replace the ballast resistor, they are cheep enough and are a know problem with starting issues.
if you still can not get it to " pop off " check the timing...
I got my stuff off a 1979 Ramcharger, However many people I have talked to say that dodge changed the set up in 1979. ( from reverse to standard rotation gear box) I don't know if the Truck I got my parts from was a "mutt truck" by a Previous owner, or if dodge threw some '79s together with...
The power steering conversion is easy, just make sure you get all the pump brackets from the doner truck, taking pictures before you pull the parts off would be advised if you are not sure how they mount.
The truck came from Dodge in Two colors : 1) lusterless forest green, 2) I think is...
My battery is small, and it has worked perfectly for the last 4 years. Just make sure you get the cranking amps you need and you should be all right.
A bigger battery should not hurt you either.....
Probably no special Mods coming from Dodge, If there were there should of been a contract involved and therefore given an " M " designation. But I am sure they modified them as they seen fit at the unit level...
They probably just special ordered a mess of Civi trucks in Strata blue. I see...
To the best of my knowledge, The M-880 / M-890 series trucks never came in a crew cab. That being said there were plenty of the 70s era dodge crew cab trucks in the Military. I know The Navy had quite a few ( Painted in battleship gray )
I suspect that these were bought threw the local...
They are looking at the truck trying to figure out what the deal is with the wheels, Paint them the same color of the truck or swap them out for regular rims and you will be ok. the truck itself looks too good to get rid the cross...
The parts store has no clue what a M880 is, It is not in their books. Therefore when going to a parts store, tell them you need ( whatever parts ) for a 1977 Dodge W-200. this is the information they need to look it up in their books....
If cleaning up the relay does not do the trick. There is a fusible link that might be causing your trouble, it is in a red 14 ga. wire coming off the starter relay that goes to the amp. meter. if this is the problem you should not have any power going into the cab of the truck. you can also...
Altho I have never had anything said to me, I have felt some " tension " when taking the truck to a show and being parked between some really, really nice cars. It is like some people think your truck does not belongs there.
In my opinion, The whole purpose of a show is to get a bunch of...
