I see on the 800's the mirror brackets on the passenger side are slightly bent to allow the exhaust pipe up through it. Maybe you can use those to keep it closer to the cab for better visibility. Just a thought.

Do you have air pressure from the governor with the purge line off? With 125 PSI the governor should send air to the unloader and the purge line on the dryer.

Where? The solenoid has a line that goes to a junction (shared with the trans) to the intake to vent.
