Well... I haven't seen one of these done yet that looks like the original with the m34 style bed, so I guess I'll give it a shot.
The "victim":
Yes I'm aware an m36 is a rare truck compared to an m35 (I'm sure I'll hear about it anyway). According to the paperwork it has had 180 miles put on...
After making a deal with an SS member I'm the owner of a couple m135s. The orange truck is very nice as far as sheet metal goes, we'll see on the mechanicals once I get it back to the shop. The other truck isn't as nice but not too bad either. I've already got enough projects to get done but...
This morning a 1970 m756a2 showed up at the yard. My friend George at Vermont Commercial Salvage bought this truck from DRMO back in the 1990s, he sold it a few years later but last year he bought it back. Rounder's Logistics handled getting it trucked it up from NC and now it's back at the...
I just won the auction for an odd HMMWV trailer. To me it looks like an early version of the m1101/m1102. Here's what the listing said about it: 1975 Silver Eagle LWHMTC 1.5-Ton Cargo Trailer. Repairs may be required.
The year doesn't sound right and a search for LWHMTC didn't find any...
My brother found an R2 listed for sale this morning for a good price, so after a few hours of driving we bought it! It looks to be in decent shape, it needs work but it's definitely worth saving. I'll take a closer look at it tomorrow and post some more pictures.
Yesterday my brother and I road tripped over to Fort Drum to pick up the M-Gator I won a couple weeks ago. The recovery went well except for a wheel bearing failure about 60 miles from Drum, so we 3-wheeled the rest of trip. I paid a little more than I was hoping to, but I wanted one and 200...
July 10th-12th is the Green Mountain Military Vehicle Club's show in Waterbury VT. We have a great field, exit 10 off I89 on US-2. Here is a link for directions: https://www.google.com/maps/dir//44.357634,-72.795275/@44.357004,-72.794487,491m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m3!4m2!1m0!1m0?hl=en

Headed from NW VT to the Columbus OH area on March 15th and 16th (Saturday and Sunday)with an empty van and m101a3 trailer. If anyone needs anything moved along the way let me know.
Back in January I won the bid for a 25kva generator listed at my local airport on GSA. It was listed with the typical vague description and also didn't have any pictures. Being that it was less than 10 miles away I bid on it anyway and won it for less than scrap price.
It turns out that...
Does anyone have any information about the aluminum security cages for the Canadian CUCV's or the earlier Canadian pickups? I've seen them on m135s, MLVWs, and 3/4 ton trailers but haven't seen any pics of the CUCV ones. I've got one that I was told came off a Canadian truck that I will be...
Yesterday we drove down to Massachusetts to pick up the CUCV II. The weather was pretty bad on the way down, but was a little better on the return trip. We had a "guaranteed reservation" for a u haul trailer just east of the base, but when we showed up they didn't have it. So they sent us to...
Built a snorkel for Fredo Corleone's deuce out of 4 inch exhaust pipe with a donaldson 4 inch ram air scoop. Haven't test driven it yet, but hopefully it will get some more air to the lds. :driver:
Thought I'd post a thread on the progress of the m107a2 we picked up in PA last week. The frame is solid, just needs some clean up before primer and paint, as well as welding up some holes from the fire departments running lights.
The fenders are real straight, just need some welding where...
Road trippin' to PA this morning to Mechanicsburg for some stuff, then picking up an m107a2 water buffalo on the trip back up. Round trip is around 900 miles, traveling with "Black Ops". Pics to follow within the next 12 to 36 hours.:driver:
