That is not mouse proof. Mice will easily get through that grate on top of the unit. You need 1/8" hardware cloth covering the top grate. I would also wheel the genny away from the door and from under the roof above. It looks like it is on wheels....Any diesel generator will wet stack if it is...

Lower the oil level below the mark. Syringe works well to siphon oil out. May take a couple syringe full to lower level. Full mark is too much oil. See if runs correct after oil level is dropped, mine did - I had the same issue....

I believe the military use of the 803 included connecting auxiliary fuel line to a 55 gallon drum of diesel fuel. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You will need the aux. fuel pickup that extends to the bottom of the barrel, available from auction site. Screws into the bung opening on top of the barrel.

20 or 30 gallon black plastic barrel...no mods necessary...
