Hey, I was thinking about buying a MTVR and wanted to know from people that had them already if there is anything in particular to be on the lookout for?? I am fairly well versed in used MV’s but these are a bit pricey for the ole guessing game! Thanks in advance for any info.
There are different status updates, the downfall is when GP gets backed up they do not update your individual status. I had one a couple of weeks ago that never said received, so I called and they did have it and had sent it to Battlecreek. Then one day I got an email that said recieved, a few...
That’s a good question! We had the same thing with a M936A1 wrecker steady climbing RPMS while working the crane. I also had the same thing happen with a civilian Peterbilt dump that had an older Cummins in it. Must be a Cummins thing because never had a Caterpillar do it with any model.

We have used BEHR ULTRA EXT FLAT MATTE paint and had great luck spraying it with a cheap graco airless sprayer with 50’ of hose and spraying right out of the can. A FMTV or M939 truck takes about 6 gallons, LMTV about 5 gallons, and a HMMWV takes about a gallon and a half. If you have a good...
How does the engine run? Any skipping or knocking and is there any pressure when you take the radiator cap off? We have a truck at the shop with a blown head gasket that runs good but put out more white smoke/steam than a fog machine!! Also have a Deere excavator that when the fuel filter is...
