I am in the process of assembling a few mep-002 from new engines and stators I purchased from gl and not using any of the original military frames etc. I have been able to wire the generator for 240 1 phase without all the switchs, and using using a $40 universal regulator (ebay)that works...

Bought some 5kw generator motor and some are painted a gloss green that is almost black I have semi gloss ww2 green but this is much darker anyone know this color and were I can get it in gallons. thanks marty
