Dry rot from the HEMTT sitting in the driveway is probably more dangerous to the tires than a little road trip!
I should note that my truck sat for about a year and I had to replace 3 tires that were too badly cracked, the heat out here kills everything!
Wow, I haven't watched that one in a long time. That's definitely a quirky flick to say the least. Good pic, not sure it would be accepted by all though.
I should probably ask if anyone has a favorite movie I should definitely bring.
I usually can get my hands on some fairly new stuff as well, so I'll have to see what's in theaters around then.
Yea, did it Memorial Weekend, have a computer and projector to show movies and used a white vinyl sheet as the screen. It worked great. Sound was low, but I know how to boost that so that it will be fine this time.
Ok, I'm 95% in. The M109 was great Memorial Weekend, no more fuel leaks but I do have a couple very small oil leaks that I may not get to fix before this trip. I'll be driving the truck around town a few times to see if they get worse, especially after an oil change that I need to do. I just...
Could be that someone just put the plate on backwards, might be what he meant. If that was the case, he might have thought down was Hi and up was LOW. Simple plate switcheroo could be the entire issue...if we could always be that lucky when troubleshooting...lol.
If the M109 hangs in there after Memorial weekend, then I'll probably try to make it up there for this. I'd be coming up the other side, so no convoy on Friday for me, can't imagine what the climb will be like in my tub though.
Will try to make this one, if not I'll be at the fall meet. Just a few things left to do to the truck mechanically before I gut the insides and do the Combat Camper Redux

This one is from 2013 at the Victorville AO. Opening shot of Part 1 and then 12 min or so in you'll see most of our vehicles including me babbling on about my M109A3 camper.
Anyone else interested? Could use a couple more trucks to move players around the field. It is so much fun using these trucks in simulated battle, not to mention you get to meet some really cool people.
Enjoying this thread a lot. Where did you relocate the air tanks to?
Getting some great idea for when I decide to rebuild mine after what I have seen and learned to do better for the next time.
Here's the thread for Lion Claws - http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?138325-California-Operation-Lion-Claws-Clash-of-Spec-Ops-Memorial-Weekend-May-22-24&p=1701762#post1701762
The Bad Karma team will be participating in Operation Lion Claws again this year and as always I will be driving Bad Karma's M35A2 for troop carrying. We will also be providing staffing for the event this year.
The event is Memorial Weekend (Friday thru Sunday) May 22-24, so you can still do...
Sadly not going to make it, The M109A3 is down right now, that usually doesn't stop me, but we have a staff meeting for Lion Claws that weekend (Bad Karma as staff...scary thing indeed.) Hope everyone has fun and posts lots of pics. I do need vehicles for the Lion Claws event Memorial Weekend...
Wish I could have made it, but was in Vegas the whole week/weekend for anniversary and annual pre-season hockey game that I've managed to combine without getting killed by the wife. Hope everyone had a great time.
Ok that's 2 trucks from the site going...any more?
Doesn't have to be a truck either, we have APC's show up, a tank, who knows what will be there this year? What are you bringing?

The event is Memorial Weekend (Friday thru Sunday) May 23-25, so you can still do any parades on Monday.
Operation Lion Claws is a full...
