On the fenders....one pair are from a early gasser M35 that was upgraded to a multi-fuel, and the others are standard A2 fenders it looks like from the pictures.

Welcome aboard from Buckeye AZ, used to go out the back gate of Camp Pendelton through Fallbrook, back in 76-78. There used to be a halftrack on display in Fallbrook during that time period, sitting on the side of the road. Wonder if it belongs to anyone here?

You can use a M35A2 wiring harness, that way you can have turn signals and emergency flashers, you will have to extend the starter wires as the starter is on the opposite side on a Multi-Fuel, and you will have to repurpose a "hot wire" for the coil. I done it 20 years ago so it is easy to do...

I'm too computer illiterate to post pictures just use google image, and type in halftrack and you will see lots of halftracks with combat rims, they have a bunch of bolts that hold the outside rim in place.

Just looking at those pictures, I'd say she's worth the money, if its mechanically as nice as the restoration appears to me. The only thing that caught my eye for not being correct is the front wheels, they should be combat rims...other than that she is a beauty. I did a ground-up restoration on...

I see it has turnsignals those were installed by someone who knew how to add them, OR it has a M35A2 wiring harness. I installed a M35A2 wiring harness on 1957 Curtis-Wright M35 gasser, There are a few wires you have to re-purpose, like for the coil, and you have to extend the starter wires...

Not ALL USMC deuces had paper clips, I was in towed artillary both in B Btry 1/11, 1st Division and D Btry 2/12, 3rd Marine Divisions and neither units had paper clips on the deuces. this was back in 74-78. And I've seen several Army trucks with cut off paperclips, indicating possibly that...

I had planned on bringing my Deuce down, but as I pulled into the Love's station to top her off, I smelled coolant, I jumped out of the truck ran around the front to see my coolant pouring out the bottom tank of the radiator, I had a friend patch it for me, and been driving it for 4 months but...

Make sure the new wiring harness is for the A2 and just not for the M35, as those are for gas engined trucks with no turn signals. All the NOS harnesses I have bought at various shows have been good to go. I HIGHLY recommend this be the first thing you do to a truck with a rotted wiring...

I don't know about teflon, but see no reason why it wouldn't work, but I've stripped all of fiber washers out of dead isolated ground alternators and put them in newly bought alternators from Autozone and/or O'Rilly's, and installed them on the passenger side position with NO problem whatsoever...
