I have a problem with one windshield wiper motor shaft that prevents the wiper from working. Does anyone know where I can get another wiper motor shaft? The knurling and threads on the end has been stripped so the wiper blade does not move while the shaft is turning. I just need the shaft and a...
Thanks Cranetruck. I think you have answered my questions. It just seems to me that staying with duels is the best of both worlds (form me). It's a lot cheaper then switching all eight rear wheels to singles with the associated headaches and trouble. It looks good with duels, the way it is...
Here is one more thought to add to the mix. Why not run duels with chains? Chains (I'm told) make duels for off road very good and you have the best of both worlds. Float for soft areas and traction with the chains all around.
I know duels are far from great but I sure like having the extra...
emmado22,
I have the flame heater on my duce and I don't think it helps a whole lot in some of the cold I see. I would love to have an either kit so if you are interested in selling yours let me know. Thanks and good luck!
Matt,
I Know you were pulling my chain! I thought it was very funny! That was why I was giving you a hard time back. Haha. I appreciate the help and the laugh you gave me too.
Oh, and just because I use the word "babe" it doesn't make me a bad person does it??? hahaha! Not that there is...
Ouch babe!! That stings a little. And after all we have been through together FSBruva! hahaha.
If only I had 25-67 of TM 9-2320-209-20-2-1 it sounds like my life would be fulfilled....
Meanwhile, back at the ranch... It is just my low beam that does not work and it just started acting up...
Hey guys. Here's a quick question for ya. I have a passenger side headlight out. I thought it was a light bulb so I bought one and replaced it. Well it was not the light bulb I guess because the hew one does not work either. Does anyone have a suggestion how to locate the problem? I was going to...
Hey everybody, I have a quick question I 'm hoping someone can answer. I am in need of the little shaft that the windshield wiper is bolted to. It has a little "thumb grip" on the inside of the cab and the other end that sticks out of the cab through the wiper motor is threaded and the wiper is...
I like the idea of the Jeep vent. Wouldn't it work if i ran the vent tubes from the axles, etc along the bottom of the bed and up to an area near the rear window. I know it is a lot of vent tube but that would put all the vents up real high. Or would it be better to just use the Jeep vents like...
A real do it your self article that was not toooo technical would be great Cranetruck! I would love to make my M35 deep water fordable but I do not even know where to start looking for the parts, etc. Thanks for all your help guys.
Okay. Once again I ask what can I burn with the FDC bypassed?? Is my truck still a USABLE AND TRUE MULTIFUEL or just a diesel??? If it is not a multifuel now that is fine. I will try to reverse the bypass. If it is a multifuel but with limited choices that is fine but I need to know what are my...
Okay guys. I always thought that once the FDC is bypassed I was stuck with just diesel. That is okay but I really really liked the idea of being able to burn ANYTHING (almost) if I had to in a pinch. What is the deal hear? My FDC is bypassed I'm pretty sure, so I have only run diesel since I...
Thanks guys. I do have a hand held volt meter. My question is what should the meter read and where should I check? I'm guessing right at the connections. Sorry for the silly questions. This is new to me and the truck was working great until this happened and now I can't drive it for more then an...
Here is a question for everyone. Could the blower motor on my cab heater draw so much power it puts my ampmeter into the yellow? My ampmeter was always squarely in the green until I got my cab heater going. Now with the engine running at idle when I turn the cab heater on the ampmeter jumps to...
