I've got an HVLP gun kit from harbor freight
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=93305
It comes with a 1.4mm but my CARC recommends 1.8mm. Anyone know where I can buy the proper nozzle kit? H.F. doesn't have it and their tech. staff isn't too helpful...friendly...
I have seen another type that crimps all the way around. Is this the right tool for the watertight connectors it comes with?

Anyone know what's going on with Rod Shaver and http://www.mvdataplates.com
Phones going unanswered. Can't seem to get through. If someone else knows a source where I can get a complete set for my M35A2 please let me know.
I posted earlier that I was going to Colemans during a trip to PA. I got there hoping to buy some nice Green stuff for my Deuce. When I saw Tom, he told me I was a couple of weeks too late. They cut up the remaining 4 parts dueces
He told me the only dueces left were from someone else...
I'm making a gun truck model and I want to put the right bumper and hood markings. I have several pics but i'm a bit confused.
The gun truck was in the 523rd trans.
the drivers side bumper marking is 523T 214
the passenger side seems to show 25GP 54T
The hood markings seem to be 05829169

I have an M35A3 front bumper (with the torched hole) and I am interested in putting in a spotlight. I have seen several on ebay and on Saturnsurplus' site but I'm not sure about bulb availability and or brightness.
My thoughts are to aim it at the curb side or straight ahead.
Any ideas and...
Hey all, I'm flying to PA on the 18th for a week and I'll be in Dillsburg which is an hour from Coleman's and Saturnsurplus. I'm thinking a quick drive over to both around the 20th.
I wonder how much green stuff I can fit in one suitcase? :D
I'm gonna find me a spotlight for my M35A3 bumper...
The wife just pointed out a 1HP, 3 Gal, 125psi is on sale tomorrow @ sears regular price $125 on sale for $80.
Is this big enough to paint my deuce? What about running a sand blaster?
I'm pretty sure I'm going to put either one on the cab floor. I like the idea of chip guard because I can paint over it. I saw the recent thread using bed liner but I don't it comes in desert tan.
Who's done what?
Hey all.
Well I troubleshot the horn and found the wire coming out of the steering column to be broken. I cut, spliced and heat shrunk to repair. Any suggestions on how to keep the wire from getting twisted up and broken again?
Went thru the one hot axle, loosened the brakes, re-bled the brakes (much better). Time for some road work. The axle is still a bit hotter than the other 3 rears but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be ok. It coasts nicely w/o the wheels.
I just finished rebuilding the rear axles. New seals, brgs, races, wheel cylinders etc. I also re-adjusted the rear brakes. I had drivers side seals failed so I had to clean the S#@%T out of them to get all the grease and oil off.
Questions
1) Do I have to have the truck running to properly...
Since I had two inner rear axle leaks and one smoking brake I decided to disassemble both rear axles, both sides to determine my shopping list.
I've got the drums off...I found several bad outer seals, some ruined bearings and toasted bearing caps...Whoopie!!! :( ...The brake shoes look good...
