I just bought 1/2" body pucks, I will look for the link later, then used some 1X1/2" aluminum bar to lift the hood hinges. that was all that needed to be done no steering or fuel tank needed.
I started with a M998 with a three speed and wanted to do something different and that was possibly the...
Here is the link to my conversion, it is a little different as I had a 6L80 transmission but the info on the trim pieces starts on post 8 with part numbers.

I have a thread on this, basically install the two trim pieces for the turbo dog house, the old exhaust will work as long as you have the correct down pipe and you should do at least a 1/2" body lift.
That switch is way too light for the HMMWV as it is only rated at 100A, just because someone is selling for the HMMWV means nothing in this world, you need one like this one, it is rated at 1500A .

If you have a dual voltage system you actually need two...
That does not make sense, you cannot disconnect the batteries while running so how does that fix a flashing wait light, as RWH said it is likely a bad or miss matched TSU
You should see 24V at 27D, also please quit randomly replacing parts and take the time to troubleshoot the issue, the problem with randomly replacing parts is it cost allot of money and you can be inducing more problems to the equation making troubleshooting much more difficult.
While I can appreciate the effort you put in this it has no relevance to an up armored HMMWV at all.
Just another guy making money doing "sensational" videos on YouTube, one of the big things wrong with YouTube, it's all just BS and scam artists:rolleyes:
The switch for the transmission works backwards compared to the brake light switch, they are in the same housing, the brake light switch has two individual wires and the brake/trans switch has a two pin molded plug.
So code 37 means the switch is open all the time whereas it should only be open...
I would add take several spare tires, you have no idea what condition or age they are.
You also must pull all the wheels and service the hubs and diffs. as they will be turning, as mentioned above not doing this can cost you allot of money and a failed trip, if one of those hubs fails and you...
I always replace the pan any time I change the fluid, I have learned over time it saves me work because most pans have been over tightened and distorted.
They are cheap enough, if you do get one with a drain plug because when you drain the pan you only change about 4-5 quarts when the total...
I don't think I have any pictures as it was 25 years ago but I stuck a 5 ton (M51, I'm talking 600 and something inches of it takes 5 gallons of gasoline just to get it started) bed on a M35A1, it had extended sides and tail gate, I hauled over 200 tons of Caliche 10-12 tons at a time about 13...
