    3 lever switch issues

Over the winter when I turned on my light switch, the dash lights would come on as expected. On a side note, I leave the dash lever in the "high" position all the time. Once the heater got the cab warm, the dash lights would go out. Now that it is warm out, I have no dash lights. It doesn't...

    2011 Haspin AAR

So Today I got off work, secured some parts for members in need and tore into my axles. I will be helping a member recover a deuce tomorrow and wanted the bearings greased and brakes free of grime. WOW, why do I subject my truck to these events? I have a single pic and it will be posted later as...

    Scrapping rear axles

So I bought a rear axle that I wanted for the "chunk". I am pulling off the brake components and wanted to know if the hubs, drums, or spindles should be saved. I have spares of most of this stuff, so I don't really want it sitting around, but I don't want to get rid of it if someone could use...

    More tire tech (with questions)

I recently was asked how a 14.50r20 was made to fit an MPT rim, but a 15.5r20 was not. I wasn't sure so I did some searching. According to this list: Army Military Tires Only when the tire size has the "0" in it, is that tire meant for MPT rims. I know it lists the 12.50 and not the 14.50, but...

    Fuel polishing

So I ran into a water in my fuel issue last summer. I have been looking into keeping my stored fuel "up to par". Circulating fuel from a tank, through filters, and back to the tank is considered fuel "polishing". Another member and I won a "lot" of blood coolers and in this lot we got 4...

    Findlay parts(2011)

I figured I'd start the "bringing to" thread for Findlay. I know I have a starter and alt sold. I will have a bunch of 20mm ammo cans, some BII tools like hydro jacks and lug nut tools. Might bring a tow bar and my kitchen tent too. What have I promised people that I don't remember? 8)

    Unknown canvas cover

I recently found a cover roughly 11x13 that I don't know what its for. Based on size I think it will be for a 101. Only 4 buckles for rolling up the sides. Can anyone confirm or deny?

    Stock heater

I have a stock heater kit in the classifieds. I received an email stating that he was looking for a HW30 heater kit and was the kit I have for sale that kit? I responded that the box didn't have the model # on it, nor did the paperwork say HW30 on it anywhere. I told him it was a Hot Water kit...

    Converting air to hydro

Just got my air assist from PCtrans(thanks again Pete!). Been wondering if I were to swap out the seals in it, could I convert it to hydro steering? I would imagine I could use one of my LDS pumps to power it, but I bet I would need to use a different assist cyl. I know there are hydro systems...

    Multifuel bearings

So some of you may remember I snapped the crank in my wrecker's original motor. I have acquired another crank from another multifuel. When we took it out, the bearings looked good. I am thinking about re-using the bearings. I will be calling to see how much a set is, but I'm willing to bet its...

    rotator beacon

I was given a beacon that I plan on using as a convoy light. I have been told this was from when the military played "lazer tag". Its a pretty cool little mount. First time I have run across one.

    Injection pump oil lines

Myself and another are going to get some new oil lines made for the IP. Anyone in need or interested? No idea on cost yet, as usual, more than one gets cheaper. Just wondering. Post up if there is interest.

    Blinky blinky blinky blinky blinky

Picked up an 813 for a member from Indy today. Made the mistake of not getting my heater back in yet. Aside from that it wasn't too bad. Met some guys (BobH I think he said) that helped me pull it out of the s250/generator sandwich so I could hook up the tow bar. THANKS GUYS! I got to use my...

    Starting a multi

I have some motors sitting that I was told were runners. I got one going yesterday and worked on another today. When I spin it over, I get some white smoke indicating it is getting fuel, but it never starts. I thought it might be the IP, but it doesn't even fire when I give it a whiff of either...

    Threads not up-dating?

So I have noticed some threads I reply to, do not take me to the next post when I click on the arrow next to the thread title. Anyone else having issues? Not all of them do it, just some. The thread by Reb87 about hunting with his MVs takes me to the second post every time I click on it even...
