No help as far as mechanics. Since I'm on the left coast.
I would suggest learning how to wrench on it yourself .
They are not something to just get in and drive.
Learning at least the basic maintenance stuff is a must.

But with that said I'm guilty of doing some odd stuff to mine.
At some point your going to end up selling your rig.
When that time comes your going to be trying to sell it to 2 types of people.

When you get a chance try putting the silver bearing up against that roof.
I'm guessing it is going to fit inside the big hole.
Normally you would have the bearing support structure to mount the bearing too.
Without it your going to have to come up with some way to support it.

no off the shelf adapter that I'm aware of exists to do what your trying to do.
Does your roof have a hole in it already ?
Does the bearing you have fit inside the hole?
I'm guessing you replaced the fuel filter , air filter, oil filter and did all the PM's as soon as you got it home?
Or did you just put fuel in it and drive it?
you have installed something wrong. or you need to lift the lock mechanism up on your Rhino to allow it to swing past 90 degree's.
It will lock at the 90 degree point this may be what your experiencing

I made an aluminum panel that basically protects the window glass when the window is open.
It was in an old TM some place.
Keeps your keys and legs and gear from rubbing on window glass when it is lowered.
