    REV truck?

I think I'm going to get one of these 4 mile trucks to use as a parts donor.

    REV truck?

This was worth it as a parts truck. And is a REV B truck worth it? Up to you. It's definitely better but costs more.

OUT AND ABOUT WITH MY HMMWV

Corporal Skellington manned the turret for this evening’s Halloween events.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Not quite what did I do to my HMMWV as for my HMMWV . . . Bought a new (to me) roll cab to hold all of the tools that keep her running.

HMMWV in snow and what tires work out best

Coug I agree at first my HMMWV was unstoppable - both good and bad - but I found with some active brake pumping it performs quite well in the snow. Definitely needs longer stopping distance than a car, but it is 3.5 tons. I would love to get ahold of a Ricardo Defense ABS kit for the HMMWV -...

HMMWV in snow and what tires work out best

I have the Cepeks, http://www.hummerproducts.com/hummer-tires.asp#&panel1-6 Top quality rim, a bit more expensive than Black Rhino but better built, higher load capacity, and factory offset. That makes them the clear choice.

HMMWV in snow and what tires work out best

I run BFG T/A KO2s on much more severe winter weather than you'll ever see in Connecticut and they are fantastic in the snow. You'll need to switch to 17" rims for that (I don't think they offer a 16.5 version for the 2 piece military rims). And studs will destroy your driveway and garage and...

    Bogert jack, storage location??

I carry mine in the backseat. I also carry a hi-lift. I like to have options when in the country.

    HMMWV Headlight Issue

As Coug said, those Trucklites are plug and play. They are designed for the military HMMWV and used on the later model HMMWVs. One of the best bang-for-buck upgrades I made on my 1165.b

    HMMWV Headlight Issue

Get yourself a set of Trucklite 07496 lights and don't look back. The upfront cost is a little higher but these are the bets headlights (mil-spec too). https://www.macmotors.com/Product/TRK/HEAD-LAMP-LED-7%22RND-9-33V-HEATED/07496

    Companies that rebuild these.

@thoner7, why don't you give Steve K. (aka Retired Warhorses) a call and have a chat, he can walk you through things, he's a great guy - and he sells HMMWVs too. He's in the book if you google for him.

    Montana Title

UT is the national title code for "utility vehicle" aka "suburban" body style as you guessed. My original MT title was issued in error as a truck and it was corrected to UT. It does not have to do with on road/off road.

    80 MPH Speedometer Backlight?

My speedo lights up, so I think you have a connection or bulb issue.

    prices

One could make a pretty good living buying the non-runners from GP and parting them out. $5K for a set of doors? Almost covers the cost of a buying the truck if you get one with doors.

Off we go, into the wild blue Hummer . . .

And you can get a temp tag too for an extra few bucks. Montana rules.

OUT AND ABOUT WITH MY HMMWV

I fled New York, I just need to update my location. HMMWV’s seem to be pretty rare in High Country CO. I know of only one other in Routt County. I also know of a guy in Grand County who has one inbound but is waiting for his EUC to clear. Drove over Independence Pass the other day (not in...
