    2010 Olympics

We had planned on having the 24V system ready for the Olympic torch Run. The plan was to be about 4 blocks ahead of the RCMP and the great flame. We were going to hijack the thread and get the crowd going. Unfortunately, the parts were ready 2 days late. So here are some pics of the festivities...

    Recovery vehicles

I came across this, man, I gotta get one of each. Unfortunately my Gov't has not finished beating them up. It seems that USA uses them too. Way too cool. The link is to a web page. Video takes a while to download, but it is well worth it! Tru-Hitch Professional Towing at its Best Dear Santa...

Getting a deuce up to Canada

I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to buy an M-35A2 and export it to Canada. I know that it can be done, As I have seen a couple of them running around up here. I know that they aren't ex-CF trucks, because we did not buy them. I want to know what hoops have to be jumped through, as...

    M-135 electrical

Could someone tell me which TM covers the 24v charging system on an 1956 M-135, and is it posted here? We went from a positive charge on the Amp meter to a slow discharge. I know that one of the batteries is suspect, ( and I do have 2 spares), but I would like to know more about the Voltage Reg...

Fill the Army Truck with Toys!

We just did our first (soon to be) Annual toy drive in North Vancouver B.C. We just got the M-135 so, planning was pretty much on the fly! The toys were sent to our local Salvation Army, who host a Santa's Toy Store, for families who need help. Here are a couple of pics, but I would really...

    M-135 winch

Assuming that we can't find the right one here in B.C. or even Alberta, what would be an appropriate winch for the M-135? Which other models use something similar and can be mounted without too much modifications?

    Santa Claus Parade Burnaby, BC

There are few MV's in this small suburb, so we took the M-135 out for a run. Learned a lot about weather stripping and heater issues. Hey, we've only had it for a month, and My DND 404s qualified me for MLVW. It was fun anyways, and the kids loved the Big Green Meanie! I'll post a highway video...

    Remembrance Day.... Canada

Today was the first official parade for the M135 under new and loving ownership. I'll post the photos tomorrow, but the crowds loved it, and we did Fam tours for those who have never had the chance (or bad luck) to go for a trip in a 2 1/2. The smile could not be wiped off with a fire axe! God...

    1956 m 135 has new happy home!

Some trucks are just too sweet to finish their life hauling firewood. This old girl came to us fully restored, and with Vintage plates. She will be used only in parades, and to support our local Legion (legion118.com) and cadet corps. The old girl, as tough and sweet as she is now has a good...
