It is only MV related, in that we use this truck to fetch parts for the M135 and the M36A3.
I am trying to find a PDF of the shop manual for a 1990 GMC 2500 Suburban.
Any hints would be greatly appreciated.
I'm posting this for our local members, and the voyeurs in the group.
August 25, in North Vancouver. PM me for details, and RSVP, so that I can reserve the right amout of parking space.
We are currently at 6 MV's and the MKT (we gotta eat too!).
We will also be doing several static displays...
I need the current Wagner / NAPA number for the headlight of an M36A3.
Bulb shows Wagner 4863-1.
Our retailers say that this bulb isn't being made anymore.
An alternative would be to switch to Grote/Truck Lights LED.
Which P/N is the beast that we need? and any recommended suppliers? USA...
So what are you doing this Christmas?

Please post your plans and results.
Pictures please!
Does anyone have a pic that they can post of an M218 Light Recovery Vehicle?
This is in response to a question that was sent to me and I don't have the knowledge to answer it. The photo should answer the question, but so far Google hasn't found anything close to what I'm looking for!
Thanks...
Please post your results here. 1 Thread will make it easier for all of us to see what you are doing, and did, with style! If you need to use this thread to co-ordinate your parade... just post pics and I won't whine!
I have some crazy friends who know my interests, and they know that I will share the good stuff with you.
Here is the unedited narrative:
From watching this video, you can see why the U-2 is considered the most difficult plane in the world to fly. Each pilot has a co-pilot, whochases the...
This was sent to me by one of the members of our local club.
This will cost some beans, but I think that they have the backing to do this job properly.

Please post here, what you are planning to do, and then put up pics, which show your success.
Every local drive will probably require a sub- thread, for co-ordination purposes, but this one thread will better show all people, the kind of incredible members who hang out here.
Soon I will...
Here's a question for the guys who have restored Gassers.
What product do you use, when cleaning very gummed up Carbs?
My new project isn't Military, just a 26 year old Jap bike. Yamaha XJ1100.
When I drained out the float bowls (4 of them) the old gas (only 4 years un-disturbed), oozed out...
We are about to detail the truck in time for parade season. What is the proper name for the sleave that goes around the gate hook chain? It is a Royal pain to have go get out the touch up gun, to cover the chaffing. I only want to touch up 2x per year. Once in the spring, to fix the winter...
Well, our old deuces are being recalled. I still don't know what (aside from cutting them up), the surplus plans are. Our local units are starting to get the new beasts. I see them on the road often. One of my buddies is on the next conversion course, and has promised to get some close up pics...
While wasting time I found this link. The truck has long since found a new home, but the pics are real cool, and the info.....
MILITARY TRUCK FOR SALE
Any museum would love to have this truck!
Well we found the correct Winch, Jack Shaft and Pillow Block. Could someone tell me which is the correct PTO for the M-135? Are there others that will fit? Thanks. Also trying to find Control Lever Assy, and mounting brackets. Are there any others that will fit aside from the stock ones?
This seems to be the closest place to post this. A buddy sent me this link. Before, you ask, NO....they are not for sale.
We are still using them in the "Sandbox" !!!!!
