Compressor Truck in SoCal needs home to avoid Scrapper

This part of Cali is usually dry, but is very salty. If you add water, you get rust bad in a hurry. Don't let metal touch dirt, or vice versa.

    Got a Deuce! '62 M35A1

I'd bet it was originally a non turbo (LD engine) A2 with rear exhaust. A1s ended in '64 or '65 I think. I think they started putting turbos on in the early 70s. You might see if any of your engine or injection pump tags refer to an LD vs. LDT. It may have gotten an LDT with the rebuild...

    Water pump rebuild kit

@cattlerepairman Linky? I had a fan eat the radiator on my '62. I noticed recently on my dropside that the clevis that attaches the radiator to the front of the block is adjusted too far in, putting the radiator dangerously close to the fan. Delicate balance between that and the hood latch...

stuck wide open when started after hydraulic head replacement?

The little pivoting tang on the end of the fuel control shaft didn't engage it's slot in the fuel control block on the bottom of the quill.

What to do with damaged LDT 465

I would make it pieces. Keep what you want. Sell what you don't. Scrap the rest.

    Got a Deuce! '62 M35A1

Early A2s were non turbo. It has an A1 Turbo. Was built in '62 when A1s were coming out, A1 era serial number. A1 floor stomp start button and starter. A1 bed ubolts. A1 wiper knob. Remains of A1 rear exhaust. Etc... Pretty sure it was suplused out before being converted to A2, then was...

Compressor Truck in SoCal needs home to avoid Scrapper

Pictures from dragging the compressor truck and parts truck to our yard a while back. Please pass on the compressor truck to hobbyists who might want it. Too much of a project for me, and if I can’t find a home for it, will eventually have to scrap it. Need to get better pics of it.

Anyone interested in heavier duty hydraulic head button retaining clips?

Got a new guy at work to help on this. Figured out we need to make the legs longer for forming. Back to the Waterjet...

    Got another deuce! (Dropside!)

Installed an ugly $100 AMA5104UT alternator tonight, it works! Might need bearings. Water pump is definitely shot. Wobbling but not leaking. Gonna try to rebuild it. Looked at adapting a 21si a little bit. Might mod the factory bracket

    Got a Deuce! '62 M35A1

The tension bolt on the large band clamp on the 4LE-354 turbo was broken. No wonder it didn’t seem to boost. Welded a new section on the bolt yesterday. Found pea shooter’s hard brake lines breakdown. Just might make this thing go and stop yet. That being said, I want to build a TD block LDS...

    M35A2 Headlights just stopped working.

Wishing I could help, following cuz I can't much yet. All the years I've had deuces, I haven't had to mess with electrical. Maybe look at Jatonka's M35 TMs. Or they are here on SS too I think.
