Ok, my blue body spacers have degraded and apparently have been crushed by the weight of the body of the truck.
A couple of questions:
1. Does anyone have these body spacers back in stock? They were a very hard to find item a year ago. Are the blue spacers the best or are the purple or black...
For aluminum, you may not need all of the brackets. Just maybe top and sides. Keep in mind, the rear wall is a heavy composite while you're using light aluminum.
I make use of this in my 1167. It accommodates the iPad pro all the way down to the mini and it can swivel.

There is no inner frame. From where you are now, bolt on the large general frame. There is no inner frame. The glass is held in on the inside by latches and brackets.
It shouldn't frustrate me but it does. This shit was completely avoidable. Some time in the near future our troops will be engaging an opposing force fighting us with US equipment.
As I recall, first, remove your windshield wipers. Then install the dark Grey spacer frame.
Secondly, install the large tan general frame. Bolt that on.
Third, install the bottom long rectangular piece which goes along the width of the truck, it may be a headache fighting through the insulation...
Looking to get a couple of these QR code panels made to place under the windshield of the truck to match the registered Vin number of the vehicle so Leo's wouldn't need to ask me to open my driver's door.
