I would also check the wheel cylinders. When I got my first 404 my brakes didn't work. I had to replace all 4 (they can be rebuilt) and I went ahead and replaced the rubber hoses just to be safe incase they had collapsed due to age. This way I only had to bleed the brakes once.
Nice score.
If I were you I would be looking for: Greasable Rear Suspension Bushings GM Chevy 4x4s from Offroad Design
They also make them for the front.
The material is a higher quality and they are greaseable. I've got a set on a CJ-7 I own and love them. When I lift my '08 I'm going to replace the...
Alxj64 and bill in VA
Pm me and I'll give you info on how you can do it in VA.
I've done 2 vehicles this way and it's completely legal. Sorry everybody else this will only work if you live in VA.
This would a great idea for those of us who want to run alternative fuels. Have one tank for diesel to start and stop on and the other tank for veg oil, ATF , motor oil or etc.
I need a new rear bumper for a M1008. Mine just got hit as it was parked on the side of the road in my neighborhood 30 mins ago. Please PM me with what you have.
I'd post picks of both vehicles if I knew how to edit the license plates out.

You should install a check valve (one way valve) to prevent you from having to prime the pump each time. Also here is a website that you might want to check out: www.WeedersDigest.com
It has lots of info on using lake water for watering duties.
I have one on my truck as well (which I purchased from FT. Gordon also) and I am almost positive (from reading somewhere) that the switch was to control the arctic heater/swingfire pump. Here is the link:

I am looking at purchasing a 718 pinzgauer and I have a couple of questions:
Does anyone on here have one?
Pro's/Con's?
Pro's/Con's compared to the 712?
What is the fair market price for them?
Thanks in advance.
No the 6.2 is not a multi fuel.
If I were you I would check in the Alternative Fuels section and use the search function.
Yes several people have run WMO in the 6.2
Its a state law in VA to stop for someone in a cross walk. Well that law seems to apply to everyone but me in the '08. I haven't had one single pedestrian ever walk out in front of me when I'm driving it. However in every other vehicle I own everyone just walks right out like I'm not even...
Yet another reason why I love this forum. I was going to get on here and post a question about this same problem that I am having with the same symptoms. When the truck starts up it will occasionally make the chatter with the volt meter bouncing all over.
Going to replace the GP relay...off...
I agree with Bjorn. It all depends on the vehicle that you have and since you have a Deuce A2 with a multifuel and some farm tractors I would just filter the WVO and mix with regular diesel. This way you will save some money by not having to purchase the biodiesel processing equipment. You'll...
