New Deuce owner and need help badly

Wait til she sings to you while you're grabbing 3rd.... Attached is an understatement 😍. Glad it fired, don't be afraid to sink money into it. High HP is cool, burning whatever hydrocarbon you can find as fuel is cooler.

    3053 Transmission

https://hanksdeuce.com/ This may help with the engine swap, not sure on the 3035 input shaft limit, someone knows though.

Steel Soldiers MV of the month 2024 - January VOTE HERE!

I assure you I had nothing to do with it, my screen name and truck are puuuuure coincidence..... Love the jeep, looks like a blast. Cummins powered I imagine it'd be like a rocket, if the frame didn't DNA helix at launch.

    Quick head light question

Make sure when entering year you use 1984. No matter what year your current or future cucvs are, 1984 is the magic year for K5 parts to swap in.

    Different cab means different truck

That's awesome! IMO, it looks better too, definitely not something seen every day. Best part is, like you said, now it can be titled as a four wheel jeep, as that's technically what it is. Such a cool build.

    Possible theft of WC63

First thing I would do is go to the shop and confirm the business is still there, let alone your truck, then call the police and insurance company if needed. It is possible the business just changed phone numbers, but highly unlikely. Like has been said, time is against you, run.

    TX Insurance startup

I have a 1969 Kaiser Jeep M35A2, liability, comprehensive and collision is $410.71 quarterly, rolled into my home and everything else policy, which is pricey compared to what others are paying but my state has one of, if not the highest insurance rates in the country, so im not surprised. My...

    MI How I did it

Same. I haven't looked at the Dodge yet, but I imagine it's larger. Throw some air bags, 3 points, 24.5" touchscreen with backup camera, inline twin mufflers and drop bumpers on the deuce and get an "added safety equipment" break 😆😂 waiting on a call back from another agent through the same...

    MI How I did it

I expressed concern with that as well, since the Kaiser weighs almost double what my truck did. Apparently they factor in curb weight, gross weight, and towing capacity, and by today's definitions using whatever formula they use, the M35A2 is nothing more than a tandem axle Ford 1 ton. I didn't...

    MI How I did it

No, I told them exactly what it was, how it was laid out, what it weighs, etc. I gave them as detailed of a description as possible, without going into detail of it being an MV, and the only question they had was if it had a fixed bed or drop sides. Maybe my agent knows something most do not, as...

    MI How I did it

So since in my state you don't need a special license for the M44, I transferred my regular pickup truck policy to my Kaiser, from my Ford. Full coverage, emergency roadside assistance, all the bells, State Farm, 1600 a year. Yeah, it's a little pricey, but for not having to deal with the...
