More photos...shes a beaut for that age... Delivery date matches year of manufacture... but not the variant.. 1097 not minted till around 1991... Wierd but thats a shiny new data plate... Looks like Gov Planet might be falsifying information 😂 Actually you may be able to recoup a bunch of... -

Drain all fluids.... Start fresh .. Good Batteries is a must !! Start it, run it, check for leaks, oil pressure, temp, fan engaging around 210.. Hit the road...Slowly ... And Have some Fun !!!!! Fellow 1989 owner,,,56xxx Late 1988 maybe early 1989 😂 -

Also, if I feel the Zero might be touching something or bottomed out , I will put a small washer or two under it to give it a little space inside 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 -

M998 shift lever button will not depress
pull it, rebuild it, and install threaded inserts so you can remove it from the top with 1 person !!! 👍👍👍 -

Tight/hard steering in one spot....
Ive seen this scenario many a time... The tolerances are so tight that the zerk bottoms out.. Might back it out a turn or so, and see if it will take grease.. Worked for me a few times.. Inferior assembly -

BLueOx...... Love mine... I went with a waterporrof material but he also make breathable tops.. I wanted something i could put on and take off easy in 5 mins.. Stores in a bag in thye back, pop it out if looks like rain,, I dont mind running no doors in rain, but love the quick top to keep... -

HMMWV Budget Drive Axle Half Shaft
You can just knock off the ABS gear ring BTW... Tap Tap Tap (y) As as I know any early model H1 halfshaft will fit HMMWV.. They will be 10k axles.. Upgrade Yeah !! I switch em as they fail.. Rebuilding 7k shafts arent worth it, nor very feasable with the pressed end.. Rockauto, Autozone... -

AMGeneral Tailgate logo decal
Wheel alighnment can be foumd im Tms. Instead of string I used a laser line and tape measure. Alighn laser line with frame and do measurenments from there ... Not sure what this has to do with TailGate logo but......... I digress !!!
