So rain all week had put a damper on truck progress. so this week rebuilt the hydraulic manifold and it still leaks, 2 orings that are not shown on the parts page are the culprit i have not had good weather to take it apart again nor do i have a small enough puller. removed the air/Hydraulic...
i sent it to the email address i was given today gpeastshipping@ritchiebros.com first time i have ever been told at one of these sites that they were not allowed to give out any contact information. i have always had a name and contact number i was not given this information the last time i made...
Chambersburg WCN drive has been a nightmare for me. i had items at the outside yard and WCN did not know they were 2 locations so my uship was willing to pick up at both, but could not get an appointment for 1 1/2 weeks at WCN, so had to schedule freight with YFC they went there today and did...
my leak is coming from under the cap knob, i have replaced all of the 4 orings and PTFE Backer rings. the TM does not show breaking it down like this where are the aluminum pins and what size puller is that because i could not get the cap off with my small puller and the larger one would not go...
I know this is an old thread but i have a nos 200 amp alternator coming from the Gov auction site. with out the complete kit does that mean this is worthless?
not to much to report. I cant work on anything else until i have all the air/hydraulic leaks fixed. I ordered the rebuild kit for the air/hydraulic pump, the manifold i thought i had fixed is leaking like crazy so i set out on a rabbit hole to get the right parts to rebuild all of the valves...
Happy to report that the cab bushing project is complete. Kroil soaking the bolt for 2 days made it come right off tonight. That was the easy part. 3 hours of later 10:30 pm diesel powered light plant glowing, bruise on the head from the dewalt light impacting the scull, fingers numb, arms...
The video posted on the FB site seemed like he had no compression on the motor for it to start. or only the starter was turning and not engaging the flywheel
Its sunday nice day but that fight yesterday took a lot out of me so small things today tried grease fittings again no luck, Kroil soaked the cab bushing bolt, replaced the throttle return springs, and tried the cable luber and shot lube in the throttle cable going let things sit for a bit and...

Just got my email that the Title for my truck is with fedex and will be here next week. I opted for a title instead of SF97 hope it was worth it we shall see
Any advise on freeing up the throttle peddle. I tilted the cab up and touched one of the springs and it broke, so i will replace that, but the peddle in the cab has to be pulled up
Slow progress but its progress, brake cage plugs came in so those are sealed up, caging bolts are put back in the storage position around the chambers and i tried to grease the truck. Its been a long time since this truck has seen a grease gun. about half took grease, ran out 2 tubes of grease...
