Have you checked your bellhousing for oil?

I check my bell housing oil every day and make sure it is between the lines ; ) Hate to run low. Might damage the CAT O strophic converter.

New Arduino-based FMTV CTIS controller ROCKS!

DigiKey is the best, particularly if you are sourcing electronic parts. If you buy off of, say E Auction sites, you are likely getting China rejects. No really!

New Arduino-based FMTV CTIS controller ROCKS!

Well, I think I figured out (at least in part) why my rear 4 tires don't dump air. This fitting shows that the 3/8" 3 way T was ripped off the inside of the passenger side frame rail. How that happened, I have no idea. New bulk head fitting ordered through Amazon.

A review of the polyurethane bushing replacements / upgrade for FMTV sway bars

I did not measure them unfortunately. All I did was flip the bushing around and drew a line between the two slits in the bushing, using a small metal ruler. Then I flipped the bushing back around. You can see the slits in the picture. This is mod would seem to be Caveman approved : )

One large bolt on the passenger side gave me grief, so I cut it off. There are essentially 3 pieces that need to line up, so it would be best to...

1995 Stewart & Stevenson 1078: New Acquisition Need Input

Honestly, avoid excessive hills, stresses, etc. Keep your speed 35 and under and use back roads if they are less demanding.

1995 Stewart & Stevenson 1078: New Acquisition Need Input

I would add that anything exposed to UV, like air hoses for the brakes, should be suspect. They get brittle. Not hard nor expensive to replace, there are just 1000's of them lol Get your wife involved.

1995 Stewart & Stevenson 1078: New Acquisition Need Input

Honestly, you're much better off to learn how to do the work yourself by educating yourself and buying a few tools and asking questions. Then you will know how to fix it in the future. Nothing is that hard, just tedious. Get it running and RUN down to the driveshaft shop to get the driveshafts...
