My buddy Mike (dezert ratt) towed it home thru the mountains for me. She dumped a bunch of gear oil out of the driver side axle boot in that parking lot (on a slant) while we ate lunch. We mopped it all up.
Runs and drives, needs a little TLC. A buddy trailered it home for me. Little bent up from being offroaded. Maybe swap the dropside bed with my nice truck and resell this one, or sell my nice one and fix this one up for me.
Modern low sulphur diesel will dry up and turn to gummy goo like modern ethanol gas, especially left sitting in the heat. I've had it happen to varying degrees each summer. If it dissolves into nothing with acetone, that is likely the case. If it does not dissolve, and there are solids left...
