Canadian, ugly, and overgrown. No choice, I have to vote for the underdog.
Which company actually built this one? Actually, there should be quite a lot of those trucks left all over the world.
I just remembered, I know where two of them are in the Netherlands (or at least were in 2011)...
He is working the track control module there with which he can start or stop or variate the different rood conditions like the fountains spraying up putting everything under water without fountains or other ways how to make the track wetter or whatever. Would not be surprised if he can raise or...
Tracer, where did you get that video and from which year is it? You were at the place personally, also in the back yard?
The same line of trucks as on your video, taken from the other side left to right (see the special roof in the background of both video and picture). This was taken in May...
Yep, last time I was there in September 2018. They are liquidating rapidly though. A lot of trucks are out.
situation according google maps from the last years, a horrible clean, neat, and empty space.
Compare this, below, with the situation from an early image from a decade or more ago...
Got one email that "that there was a new post", then to find out that there were FOUR new pages with posts. So some remarks.
Large files: try wetransfer.com. They do really large files, no problem, I used them several times for project reports with lots of images and files for printers. Or...
Bringing back good memories. My colleague in the filed at AH Mile 422 in northern BC told me to quickly look what was what. With black bears: chase them away with noise. Grizzly: not good idea, try climbing a tree. Climbing a tree is a bad idea with big black bears; they climb better than you...
First things first, Ron picked up his "new" transfer case from Docfarmall who brought it to the rally for him.
Some more pics from the GA Rally 2014. These I definitely never posted before.
That's it. Braking camp on the last day, time to leave.
Rest in peace, my friend...
next batch: GA Rally 2014: engine swap Any's deuce.
Have a look at that link, it has some good other pics of the people doing the swap.
1) Ron giving instructions how it should be prepared.
2) Spec Ops Sgt Robert (rmtaunton) coordinating whith Ron what's going to happen now, with...
Unfortunately, we cannot make it from the Czech Republic, but in mind we will be there. I have set the alarm clock for that afternoon, to raise a glass with you at least in spirit in Ron's memory.
Ron at the GA Rally 2014
Some pics with Ron, all from the 2014 GA Rally
The TeePee. The first days I slept in Swiss' large tent, after Swiss and his family arrived, I slept in the pup tent he brought me. Had my stuff stored at the back of the TeePee. Enjoyed a quiet coffee with Ron most...
It is interesting how each of us has a different story and memories about Ron, but each show the same strong positive feeling in it.
I remember that in 2014 at the GA rally, there was this memorial tent for TIGGER. My gut feeling says that Ron was not the kind of man who would like to see...
Goodbye to a good man.
This is devastating news to hear, just saw this from a different thread, had been off-site and missed this thread til now. Did not read all of the posts, will do so later.
When I came to the GA Rally in 2014, I ended up as Ron's neighbor and he took me in and helped...
Not lacking in love but flooded with 900 truck threads in the last years. It was already suggested that maybe the 5-ton threads should be split in old (M39 and 809 series) and 900 and later series, the same way there is a deuce line and an early deuce line.
