The day will come......... For about two years my M 1008 was on a ship from Texas to Germany, the truck was a bit smaller but feelings were the same.

Every year there are less, the price will go up. When i know i cant live without comfort, i dont buy an CUCV. In my opinion the reason for high prices, its hard to find an original or nearly original CUCV. If everything is changed (chassis, A/C, power windows or whatever) it is just no longer...

Rust will be allways a problem. Trucks from today in 30 years has its own problems (electronics), but thats another topic.

Today i have changed both locks on my workertop. The keys from the old ones were gone. I have also mounted a new bridgeplate and the original markings are back on the truck.

Maybe they are to old?

Sooner or later i will paint it carc383 green. Then, i hope, it looks perhaps a bit better.

Today i have purchased a GEM workertop. It's a lot of work to do, but it works for the moment.
